HOLY WEEK AT CITY LIFE HOUSTON!
What is Holy Week? Holy Week is the week leading up to Easter, and it’s a time to reflect on the life, love, and sacrifice of Jesus. It starts with Palm Sunday, remembering when Jesus entered Jerusalem, and includes important moments like the Last Supper and Good Friday, when we reflect on His death. It all leads up to Easter Sunday — a celebration of hope, joy, and Jesus’ resurrection!
At City Life, we observe this week with opportunities to experience the meaning and weight of Holy Week together as a community. Through events like Journey to the Cross (April 1-3rd), a reflective, interactive experience, and our Good Friday Service (April 3rd), we take time to slow down, remember Jesus' love, and prepare our hearts for the power of Easter (April 5th).
We’d love for you to join us April 5th as we host ONE powerful Easter Sunday Service at the George R. Brown Convention Center!

FAQs ABOUT EASTER SUNDAY 2026
We are so excited about Easter Weekend! We’re so excited about our upcoming Easter celebration, and we want you to be a part of it! This year, we’re gathering together for ONE powerful, unforgettable service at the George R. Brown— and there’s so much more happening around it. Here’s everything you need to know:
This Easter, we’re bringing our entire City Life family together for one powerful, unified service. It’s a chance to worship as one body, believe for spiritual breakthrough, and create space for everyone to invite friends, neighbors, and coworkers. By meeting off-site, at the GRB, we can accommodate more people, overcome space and parking limitations, and focus fully on outreach, unity and connection. Let’s come together and celebrate the hope of the Resurrection!
Resurrection Sunday is April 5, 2026! Join us for service at the George R. Brown located at 1001 Avenida De Las Americas General Assembly B (3rd Floor) Houston, TX 77010. Doors open at 10:15am, but feel free to arrive a bit earlier to ensure you have ample time to park, check in kids (earliest at 9:45), and find your seat!
In order to best serve everyone in attendance, we ask that anyone who will be attending including kids, youth, volunteers and first time guests register for service!
YES! We’d like to invite all children and youth to join the NextGen fun on April 5th during the 10:15 am service! We are thrilled that City Kids and City Youth will both have programming specific for them. When you arrive to the 3rd floor, please check in your children at the Kids+ Youth check-in station!
Our City Kids will be hosting their very own Easter Jam in a designated space just for them! Our youth will be joining us in the main service for worship then dismissing for their very own Easter activities!
We have the address of George R. Brown, the address of the parking lot at Toyota Tundra, and a directional video that shows you how you can walk from the parking garage to the General Assembly on the 3rd Floor.
You may park in the beautifully spacious Toyota Tundra Parking Lot!
When you arrive to the Tundra Lot, park anywhere inside and bring your ticket inside with you after you park so we can validate.
No need to worry about parking fees as City Life will be covering parking fees for anyone who parks in the Toyota Tundra Parking Lot!
There will be one parking validation station on the 3rd floor (where we are gathering) that will be manned by our very own City Life Volunteers!
We encourage you to carpool! Whether you are bringing a guest joining us for the first time or attending with other City Life members!
If you would like, you can park your car at the City Life Houston building, get in one vehicle and head over to the GRB! The location is about 10-12 minutes from the church building.
We’re glad you asked! We have two main opportunities for you to get out and invite the City to join us for Easter!
The first opportunity will be Engage Training on March 29th where we will meet at City Life for a short training on how to engage people with the Gospel followed by a practical application of this! We will be going out into the community to spread the love of Jesus and invite people to join us at Easter!
The second opportunity will be offered through our City Life Groups with an initiative called Adopt a Neighborhood! Each City Life Group will pick an area near where their group meets and canvas with prayer and invitation to church (or group)! You never know who you will meet when you are BOLD for Christ and make yourself available to GO!
Join us in these missional outreaches leading up to Easter!
